When to use this treatment?

Our oil blend is perfect to use as a weekly pre-shampoo treatment to maintain healthier & stronger hair. However, it is particularly beneficial for those with brittle, damaged hair in need of some serious TLC.

Ingredients

Babassu oil - almost identical to Coconut oil, however Babassu oil is much more lightweight and less greasy and has the ability to deeply penetrate the hair shaft leaving hair soft and more manageable. It is high in Lauric acid which deeply conditions hair making it less frizzy and resilient to breakage.

Ojon oil - also known as Caiaue. Traditionally used to strengthen and nourish hair, leaving it extremely soft and shiny. Ojon oil is the only natural component which has the same constitution of the hair keratin, making it very beneficial for damaged hair. It is rich in amino acids and natural antioxidants that protect hair fibres from daily stressors and is a powerful natural ingredient for restoring hair fibres.

Pequi oil - high in beta-carotene, vitamins A & E. Pequi oil dramatically improves the appearance of hair health, increases vibrancy and improves wet/dry combing. It also protects hair fibres during chemical processes (dyeing, bleaching, relaxing etc) and promotes the renewal of hair fibres. 

Patuá oil - also known as Batuá, Seje, Ungurahua and famously, Rahuá. Patuá has a similar composition to that of Olive Oil, but it is much less greasy and and very light in texture. Traditionally used in the rainforest as a hair tonic and to treat hair loss. High in Oleic acid (Omega-9) which increases the ability to lock in moisture, keeping hair hydrated and soft.

Sacha Inchi oil - contains the highest amount of plant-based Omega 3 fatty acids, all 8 essential amino acids and a high tocopherol content. This Peruvian oil deeply conditions hair whilst locking in moisture. Because of Sacha Inchi's unique nutrient combination, it has an impressive ability to restore damaged hair cuticles, helps brittle hair regain its elasticity and nourishes dry, problematic scalps.

Pracaxi oil - has the highest known concentration of natural Behenic acid, which is known to boost hydration levels, reduce frizz and leave hair noticeably shiny. In cosmetics, Behenic acid is used as a conditioning agent that works to smooth out hair cuticles.  Praxaci oil is commonly used in the Amazon to strengthen hair roots to prevent hair loss and also to prevent split ends.

Buriti oil - also known as Morete oil, has the highest concentration of Pro-Vitamin A amongst all plant oils. It helps to protect hair from environmental damage and UVA rays, improve wet and dry combing, improves shine and softness. This ingredient is a natural miracle for bleached and processed hair.

Directions
Warm oil in a pot of hot water before applying. Apply oil to dry, unwashed hair from root to tip. Comb through and allow to sit for at least 10 minutes before shampooing thoroughly.
